About Hoobner

Hoobner has been a devotee of cannabis since his first epiphany on weed in the 8th grade. In a flash of clarity, he realized the folly of believing other people’s bullshit is exceeded only by that of believing one’s own.

This insight into the true nature of life naturally led to great success as an advertising agency executive.

As the years passed, cannabis would reappear unexpectedly at critical moments to remind Hoobner of where he came from, of the person he once wanted to be, of the things he had intended to treasure in life.

Sometimes, those clouds of aromatic smoke revealed only how hollow the illusion of success can be.

Now in his middle age, the fire of youth gradually fading and being replaced by the pains that come with maturity, Hoobner faces a crossroads, a turning point, a choice. Once again, his ally, cannabis, returns to stir things into clarity.

“When are you going to grow up?!”

“Do you want to be a stoner for the rest of your life!?”

“You really think life is supposed to be fun all the time?!”

At age 48, his answers are, “never,” “yes,” and, “pretty much.”

That’s why Hoobner is off to Amsterdam!
